Avis courts du CIQ

Les avis courts du Comité sur l’immunisation du Québec (CIQ) sont rédigés principalement en réponse à des questions spécifiques provenant des Directions de santé publique ou du Groupe sur l’acte vaccinal, qui est responsable de la mise à jour du Protocole d’immunisation du Québec (PIQ). Les arguments scientifiques y sont présentés de façon plus succincte comparativement aux avis scientifiques publiés sur le site de l’INSPQ. Ces avis courts sont utiles aux professionnels œuvrant en santé publique puisqu’ils permettent de comprendre les raisons qui sous-tendent certains changements mineurs apportés au PIQ.

Preliminary Data on Vaccine Effectiveness and Supplementary Opinion on the Strategy for Vaccination Against COVID-19 in Quebec in a Context of Shortage

The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) recently asked the CIQ to issue an opinion on the target interval before administration of the second dose, and important considerations to be taken into account for decision-making. The purpose of this opinion is to answer this question through an analysis of the most recent data on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness from Quebec and abroad.
